Ultrafine GBBS

WHAT IS BUILDFINE? 

An Ultrafine material is a low calcium silicate mineral based admixture which is controlled for its narrow range particles size distribution to achieve high levels of reactivity. Fineness and high reactivity of BUILDFINE attributes to enhance the hydration process. Addition of Pyramid ultrafine improve the particles packing of paste a component which ultimately leads to concrete with higher strength and improve durability. Performs in a superior manner when used in concrete. Due to its inbuilt low CaO – SiO2 content has two-way reactions during hydration: Primary reaction of cement hydration and pozzolanas reaction in which it consumes a by-product of calcium hydroxide from hydration of cement to form calcium silicate hydrate (CSH) gel similar to pozzolanas.

USAGE OF BUILDFINE

BUILDFINE is a hydraulic additive which should be added with measured quantity in concrete mix along with cement and other pozzolanic material. Mixing time shall be adequate to facilitate the uniform inter dispersion of all powder materials in the concrete.

DOSAGE

BUILDFINE UGGBS is recommended 4% to 8% by weight of total binder content as per the grade of concrete. Dosage can vary as per requirement but it is recommended to validate it first in the laboratory

STORAGE

BUILDFINE UGGBS bags should be stored in a ventilated, dry area and protected from moisture, and heat. Maintained Under well storage conditions shelf life of a sealed product is six months from the date of manufacturing.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • Use of mask, Hand gloves and goggles while using BUILDFINE material. • Empty bags shall be disposed of as per local rules and regulations. • Avoid prolonged contact with skin and eyes.
